Hi friends, how do you define Human Resource? I heard that human resources are the function dealing with the management of people employed within the organization. But today most organizations consider their employees as human capital. Human capital denotes the collective knowledge, skills and abilities of an organization’s employees. Is it the right explanation?

Human Resources is just a posh name for what used to be the Personnel Department!
