Establishing your business is the part that takes the most money, is very expensive, and is often over-looked
For this reason it is known as the "death valley curve"
When you setup your business, did you perform a launch?
How have you promoted your business?
Where is your business located?
If you are liable for business rates, have you contacted your local authority for some assistance?
Who is your market?
Shoe shops don't just sell shoes, what other accessories do you offer?
What is the competition like?
Most small shoe shops that I visit have a stockholding of between 250 and 1000 shoes
Larger outlets, are typically between 2500 and 5000 items
What is your stockholding like?

How are you advertisng currently? How do your prices compare to other high street retailers? Are you offering the absolute best customer service?
