I have currently got issues with a member of staff who is refusing to wear personal protective equipment. They cannot give me a justified reason for their refusal either .I have an idea of how to tackle this but would like a bit of outside input if you could please?

You need to get that sorted quite quickly.If I were you I would start disciplinary proceedings and make sure everything is documented.That should be enough proof to cover you if this member of staff was to make a claim for example.
