Promoting your business

Hi guys has anyone got any ideas on how we can promote our business futher. We are doing ok but I think we chose a particulary difficult time to open after christmas when all the sales were on and obviously could not sell many of our products at a reduced rate after just opening. We were thinking about leafletting possibly? Any ideas?

There's loads of things you can do. You could try leafletting. But I would do door to door rather than handing them out to members of the public as most will dispose of them straight away. You should look at setting ip your own website if you haven't done so already?

We have advertised with the local paper and also have designed our own website. My partner is the brains of the operation and together we have come up with a few ideas , I was just hoping to get some inspiration from you guys aswell so I can fob the ideas you give me off as my own ;)
