Do many of you have to travel far into work, and does your company pay for your travel expenses?

It depends with us. If we are travelling to and from work no. But if we are travelling to one of our other units then we are allowed to claim back the money.

I'm quite lucky that I get to drive around in a nice company car and pretend that I earn enough to actually own it. There's nothing wrong with telling a litttle white lie every now and then ;) I have to pay for the petrol myself but we get our parking paid for by the company.

I don't exactly have to travel all that far to get to work. Seeing as I live above our store I don't think I could possibly get away with having an expense account for my travel.

You have a company car, but have to pay for the petrol? I assume you can claim it back though?

I can claim back based on the mileage I use in the working week, kind of like an allowance but I have to pay for my own personal use of the company vehicle
