Company Shares

Do any of you own shares in your company ? And do you think that it is a good idea to invest so close to home, or are you better to steer clear?

I think that as long as your company are going to be giving you something worthwhile back they it's a good idea. I know you can never guarantee this but do some research and look into it properly before comitting to anything , I guess. My company gave me the opportunity to do this and I refused as I didn't understand it properly but now wish I had .

Yes I think it's a good idea, as long as you know what you are getting into. I have company shares, it's just about monitoring it really.
