Bonus Schemes/Incentives

Hi guys i was wondering if you could share your input on what your bonus schemes or incentives are? In retail stores and head office/support centre? We are struggling with economic climate as it is and was wondering what you guys are trying?

Hi,
it does help to have an incentive for your staff as it gives them a reward for their hard work and it also makes them feel appreciated. If you have a particular sales target that you business would like to achieve , inform your staff of this and it gives them something to work towards , and if you manage to reach it from a team effort give them a reward of some sort

Funny you should bring that up, started an incentive scheme two months ago, which the employees suggested, supported, and implemented
So far no employees have qualified, makes me wonder if everyone really IS putting the effort in!

I think it depends on the incentive. It has to be something not too far fetched as if they have been putting in all their effort and still not achieved their target, then it might actually do more damage than good.
