I have on order an EPOS system from a company in London , i ordered and paid for on 14th November 2008 and was given a 2 week lead time , dispite several phonecalls and conflicting reasons for non-delivery there is still no delivery date ( hopefully mid Feb is the latest ).I have sent a letter of cancellation on 8th January which although they have signed for ( special delivery ) and another non-recorded copy they are denying receipt of either.I have since faxed a copy which they have acknowledged
I am dealing with customer services and can get no further up the management ladder .
I cannot afford to purchase another system until i am refunded by them but customer services keeps saying a refund is unlikely as what i ordered is a special though it does not say that on the web site , it is just a bundle .
I feel that legal intervention is the only course i can take but as a 2 man operation i cannot afford it .
The company are taking me round in circles and i am getting nowhere
I will need a system up and running by mid March and have over 700 part lines to upload

Sadly as a business you are NOT covered under the many protections given to odinary retail customers
However, if you paid at least £100 by Credit Card, then this may offer some protection
Failing that, then you need to consider raising the matter to your company insurance and legal cover
