So what did everyone think?

For me, I think Sainsbury's directors missed the point totally and led the poor lass up the wrong road. She quite clearly stated the problem was that the ingredients were scattered across the store and that meant an inconvenience to the customer.

Despite Sainsbury’s already having some proven menus for the promotional leaflets, they got her to create four new recipes. She never claimed to have “masterchef” talents, she’s a shop/warehouse worker!!

So then Sainsbury’s launch one recipe in one bag and charge £4.11p. Talk about strangling a great idea! (What sort of promotional price is £4.11?)

Surely this whole concept isn’t too different to what M&S (meal for £10) and now Tesco (meal for £9) are doing with all the ingredients placed on one shelving unit/plinth and letting the customers choose and pack whatever products they wanted?

Poor lass, I really felt for her as she has been kicked in the teeth by her company directors.

Retailing needs enthusiastic thinking people like her, can I have her phone number please?

Ironically, I missed it, so hopefully it appears on More 4

I thought it might have worked better if her bags were put near the entrance for those people who just want to get something for their dinner and get in and out as quickly as possible.
