Like many out there I am saddened by the death of Michael Jackson (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Michael_Jackson)! I have enjoyed his music from childhood and feel that I have grown up with him.

He is one of a kind and can be compared to no other and I feel that his loss will be felt by many people around the world! I mean who didn't know who Michael Jackson was? No matter where you go or what language you speak - Michael Jackson is someone that everyone knows about!

It seems that since his death music sales and downloads have risen dramatically for his albums. He made it into the top 40 this weekend after years and claimed the number one spot with Man in the Mirror, which in my eyes is one of his greatest! Although for me it is hard to choose just one song!

Apparently people working in retail jobs within music stores have seen a surge in sales of his albums at the moment! His greatest hits album No Ones rocketed from 121 to the top spot which is amazing! Four other albums also made reappearance in the top 20! How awesome is that?

Oh and apparently there is more to come from him - we haven't heard the last of him yet! (I hope this is true).

Its so sad, he is great - I've seen alot of people mocking him in the past and even now in the present which disgusts me.

Even in death he is still an Icon.

I don't know if anyone saw the BETA show - its was lovely for them to dedicate this to his life - Jamie Foxx was great.

And Janet was so brave to be there and make a short speach.

I was in the pub on Saturday and they had Sky News on in the background. The news bar at the bottom simply said: "For all other news, please press the red button"...

See its amazing isn't it how his death made such an impact that news channels were reporting on him only! Its crazy but also shows the impact he had on the world!

Abi I agree with you and hopefully he can now rest in peace!

I watched the BETA show on you tube last night (well bits of it) and it was so great that they dedicated the show to him wasn't it? It was very much a last minute thing but what a great way to pay tribute?

Check this out; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rzeRn8eaG7Q its great to see :D

Hopefully the media can finally leave him alone. There were times where anyone would think he had a few screws loose but I think we should all let him be.

Yeah I have noticed the radio going Jackson mad - on the way to work, at work, driving home from work. No doubt there will soon be memorabilia books, DVDs and all that :(

Abi your not the only one there - everyone wants to make sure they have copies of his music somewhere and are enjoying reminising in the past to his tunes that remind them of whatever happened at the time etc etc....

I have already got a few of his albums but have been thinking of getting a copy of moonwalker lol!

I personally wouldn't buy it, I am not his biggest fan. I am sure many will though - he was a legend! :)

When sally says we haven't heard the last of him yet... is there unreleased music or something???

I think so, or at least i hope so. Hes not everyones cuppa tea, but he IS a legend. the once former king of pop, and surely a tragedy to fans and family alike.
