Has anyone pre-ordered "The Lost Symbol" by Dan Brown, which is released on 15th September?

It's not the sort of thing I read, but it should be the biggest book launch of the year.

i read the da vinci code, thought it was ok, but some of it read like a text book. then i tried to read angels and demons, and it was like a carbon copy of the da vinci code. so i wont be reading his new one.

I am with Emma on this one! I really couldn't get into Angels and Demons and I only just read The Da Vinci code! I had to keep myself going at parts of it! Not my cuppa tea but I know so many that are obsessed by it - so Im sure they would have ordered this!

I might give it a read. The Da Vinci code was good, i thought. i asked a lot of questions about a lot of things while reading it. The whole conspiracy thing was a bit much tho. Its different from the sort of things i usually read, but im too curious :D

There are conspiracies anf theories everywhere and I think this is just one of them!

Yeah thats bound to happen as well - xmas gifts are going to be swayze and mj all over!

True, but i can honestly say ill miss patrick swayze tho. he was a darn good actor. Its really sad for me tho. all my idols i had as a child are passing on. :(

His was the first bum I saw on TV at the age of ten or so haha! I remember we weren't allowed to watch it but we went to my friends house and sneaked into her room with the film and were laughing at his bum hehe!

lol luckily i was allowed to the first time i saw dirty dancing :D I still have the song he made for the movie as well. he had a tremendous voice i think. sigh. :D

OMG lol I have the whole soundtrack to that one! I love it! Esp for girlie nights! Can sing to all of it hehe!

I have the soundtrack as well. plus i thought id update. i actually got the chance to see angels and demons, and to be honest, i preferred the da vinci code. movies like that have to have you asking questions afterwards. angels and demons only left you with another good guy bad guy movie. altho the twists in the story kept you interested.
