I'm just interested where your work is located and do you think it's a help or a hinderance, and if it is your downfall, where do you think that you would be best situated.

We are lucky as we are located in the centre of Glasgow. I suppose our only downfall is that we are obviously not the only retailers around and there is competition out there .

But then again, if you're the only retailer for miles around, less people are likely to travel to you.

Yes but if you are the most local and there isnt any competition around, is that not in your favour?

Yes but doesn't it depend on how many people that you are local to?

I mean that if you are in a rural setting you may very well have not alot of competition, but you also may not have alot of customers. Where as, if you were a movie rental place in a town, were the only movie rental place then you will obviously do quite well.

Of course, what I meant was my local shop is within walking distance - I wouldn't get in the car to fetch my local paper each morning (if I wasn't at work of course). It depends entirely what you're selling TBH.
