Any graduates looking for work? Well obviously right :) for those of you struggling to find something I have some good news, the Graduate Recruitment Bureau (http://www.grb.uk.com/news_archive.0.html?storyId=1407) say that two supermarket giants are offering job hope to graduates by announcing HUNDREDS of new positions.

Sainsbury's for one has upped their number of graduate places on its 2010 graduate scheme by 30%, thus offering a total of 85 places. Graduates can apply for 13 different schemes, including retail jobs (http://www.careers-jobs.eu/retail-jobs) which is the largest, having doubled the number of places available, wow thats excellent right?

Sainsbury's is aiming for the number of graduates coming through its programme to be able to support its expanding store portfolio, which is being increased by 15% by 2011. And then Tesco has announced 800 new financial support jobs with the opening of a customer service centre in Glasgow. The personal finance operation is expected to open in the first half of next year and will support the company's drive to offer a full banking service.

What do you think about that everyone, thats quite a large number of jobs, hope this brought a smile to someones face...

It also says that tesco is entering banking as well. They are said to be opening their first bank in store? I think thats an excellent idea. you dont have to go que up at ATM's or long bank lines to get money and still get to the shops on time. Overall I'd say it made me smile. More jobs are always in order.

Yeah the in store banking idea is brilliant, I hate going to the bank and waiting forever :( and the information desk at the bank is even worse 2 people to help a line of 10 people and you end up standing there for hours sometimes.

Thats so true. Id rather just get in there, get wot i need, get to the bank in the same store... and go home and relax. I dont like standing in between people waiting for what seems like hours.
