I am rather angry at my local Council (North Lanarkshire Council) for installing Recycling Nodes
My bin area already has two recycling wheelie bins, I seem to be the only person that is using them as I have to keep reporting that they are full and need emptied, and the majority of the contents are mine!
However, the instructions for these new recycling nodes are extremely complicated, such that a MANUAL and CD had to be issued with them!
It's laughable!
Strangely they did not include details of when or how often they would be emptied
One item of interest is that plastic bags CANNOT be recycled, but there is no mention of papers bags
i would rather transport my recyclable material to the node in paper bags, as I can then throw the whole lot in
You can probably see where I am going with this, as no doubt many people will carry their recyclable material to the node in plastic bags AND throw them in as well!
So, what large retailers still offer paper bags?
