A cat was found 500 mil4es away from home a year after he went missing! He somehow got from Scotland to Devon! How mad is that!
This makes me believe getting the cats chipped is definately worth the while hehe!

aaaaw, Im so glad they got their kitten back. I dont think i'd survive if i lost my cat, diablo. And it shows that there are good people out there, with eagle transporting the kitty home for them. (way to go samson. :D)

How did the cat travel soo far? I also heard of one cat that liked to jump onto buses for the day then go home int he evening how odd!?

lol ah no I dont have a cat :p but I do have a dachshund named Mr Jingles :D my sister is the cat lady of the family hehe.
The cat in question must have got onto some sort of transport like you said abi4retail and ended up in another county, I dont think it could have walked all that way, but then again cats are rather intelligent creatures so it could well have kept itself fed on field mice and such who knows at least its home safe now.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA MelliJelli, nope. They are blue. I have heard they change colour according to my mood, but they havent gone red yet :D
i nearly got a kitten yesterday, but was vetoed by my boyfriend. it had a lazy eye and i wanted to look after it, but he did have a point though....it may eat my hamster princess bea ;)

I have to admit, Diablo hasn't shown an interest in my fish yet. He just watches them swim around, and he gets jealous when i feed them. Other than that, he hasn't tried to eat them at all.
Haha Well I take the biscuit here guys! I have four kitties! Prince, Mayaand Mimi (they are sisters) and Simba!
Don't know what those names say about me if anything hehe!
I thought that cat story was funny - its so good that the cat found its way home eventually though! Prince has gone missing here and there and the longest period was for two weeks! Anything past 2 days and I am worried out of my mind! We once also found him locked ina neighbours garage after three days!

I kept Diablo indoors untill he was about 6 months old. I still get worried if he dissapears and i cant find him. people around here arent really animal friendly when theyre driving. at least for now he comes in every night at exactly 9 to sleep. and during the day as well, hell pop in and just meow next to me to let me know hes there and safe, lol a head scratch later and hes out again till next time.

Well it's a cat's natural instinct to go hunting so one cant really lock them up that would just be cruel, and they normally always find their way home, and as "they" say cats have nine lives after all hehe :D.
SallyA I used to have a black Labrador called Prince too he was gorgeous and we had him for years, he got cancer and his kidneys gave in so we had to eventually put him down he was also going blind and deaf (reli sad), we seem to get so attached to animals they become just like our children.

lol we dont say cat around diablo. :D he is my baby tho. when i got him he was small enough to fit in the palm of my hand. Youd never say that now tho. :D hes grown, in more ways than one. His personality is his beast feature tho. But he doesnt seem to want to go out at night.
aaaaaaw mellijelli, thats so sad tho. we do get attached our pets tho. we cant help it. :)

Animals will always return to the place they know they are loved best even dogs, they will only run away if they are ill treated and in that case I would not blame them at all.

Aaaw my aunt has a old dog called George and he is partially deaf and blind and has the worst wind problem! Eugh! But thats about it! He has been around for years! But he gets slower by the day :( He is one of the few dogs that doesn't scare me!

my friend has a dog and she got a hamster which she often questions herself over... her dog doesn't attack the hamster however does bark at the poor thing continuously - so you have to take him out the room where Bruno (hamster) is.
The funny thing is Bruno isn't bothered in the slightest I think he enjoyd teasing Benji (the dog ) hahahaha

lol His personality really is. Originally It was decided to call him cruickshanks ( lol big harry potter fan) but he decided to ignore the name completely. and no matter HOW much we tried he wouldnt listen. So the one night, sitting watching tv, he sits at my feet staring up at me, and i saw the red lights in his eyes. :D freaked me right out !! so diablo came to mind. he walked off, and i called after him, this time saying "diablo", and would you believe he turned and came right back to me? hes a really strange kitty :D
Benji is a cool name for a dog tho. I can remember watching a tv program with a puppy in it called benji. was one of my favs :D

I went to my cousins this weekend and she has a miniture poodle - its actually cute (not a dog lover) and she has called him Jake?! Hmmm LOL! He is the firstdog in my life that I have picked up though! He is so lovely! I usually shit my pants and hide or insist they are kept away from he ahha!
My friend has a pitt and Im ok with her too but can't be left alone with her - so me and Jake made progress lol!
