I found this article about Victoria Secret and it says that they are planning on expanding internationally and are going to be opening stores in certain markets, which includes the UK. They are scouting for locations for a store in London, although they haven't yet found a suitable location.

Their expansion plans also include ideas for a new etail site. We'll have to see how it all goes, I'm sure it is going to be tough for them to break into the market.

But I do know a few people that would love to get retail jobs in a store like that, which, of course, includes me. Problem is though that I woul probably end up spending much of what I earn right there. Although that would obviously depend on what the stuff will cost and whether or not there is a staff discount. Lol

Personally I think this is a good idea especially since La Senza's quality has gone down hill leaving us with fewer choices in the underwear dept!

Have you seen there undies lately? I have always been a great fan of thier Lullaby Lace range but since they changed the fabric they make them with I have found them to be quite irritating! They used to be so good Im not sure what happened! Needless to say i haven't bought a bra in there for quite some time!

Lately I seem to have gotten all my undies from Next or M&S! Much better quality etc!

So introducing a new contender - specially one such as Victorias secret is a great thing! Not to mention the plus side of more job creation!

Looking forward to seeing just what they do come out with! do you know when this store will be arriving to the uk?

No, unfortunately they weren't very specific with the date in the article, just said they were busy hunting for a spot in London, but had not settled on anythig yet. Let's hope it is soon.

As for the quality, I'm sure they will have really high quality things. Can't really afford to let their standards slip if they want to make an impression on us.

I wonder how thier pricing is? And will be here???

Lets hope they find somewhere soon so we can check it all out! Maybe in time for christmas or do you think that would be too late now?

It would be interesting to see how their pricing is. Would probably start off quite reasonable and then maybe go up after that.

It's getting close now so I'm don't really think they they would be able to get it up and running by Christmas.

I'd do the usual bloke things, and stand in the corner looking sheepish, but as we're not actually face-to-face, that doesn't really work!

Stange that men's underwear isn't half as interesting! ;)

I have to say I'm usually the one standing in the corner waving away the assistants, if I'm there, my other half will normally go in and decide what is nice and what is not.

I have to agree with that, men's underwear is really boring. No point really in it being interesting though is it.

Hehe it may be boring but some of these mens "knickers" are funny haha!

I have to agree that womens underwear is far more interesting and I totally take my time buying and choosing etc.... I cant help it lol!

They are, making some crazy underwear for girls these days as well. At least that is what I've noticed at some of the places I've seen them.

But when I do go shopping for underwear by myself I have to agree, I also take my time choosing what I want.
