No complaints as of yet and I've been using it a few years, actually thats a lie; my printer has finally broken down - which is why I'm on this site :)

Hi guys. We have a EPOS called Imonggo that can manage from 1 to 100 real life store. Your comments and suggestions will be highly appreciated.

I manage a chain of book stores. I have 2 stores and a head office. I use Tysso 7000 integrated touchscreen tills for the outlets. They have never failed on me yet and I am very happy with them. They look neat in my stores. All the re-ordering, stock management and reporting is managed from head office using PosWyse retail software, which is simple to use and functionally rich. There's plenty of places you can get this kind of system but I went with these guys (http://iposltd.com/) they're are based in the UK and told me they are the exclusive suppliers of Tysso, which is why I went with them. I hope this helps.
We have Microsoft Point of Sale and Retail Management System(RMS), price as low as US$95, any we provode customization for your unique retail needs, feel free to contact me at nanfen@gmail.com
So user iposltd manages a chain of books stores with tills from ipos ltd , which are amazing. And his user name is iposltd.....hmmmmm
forgive for being cynical, but that is a really lame attempt at self promotion. If you are going to do it, think it through properly!

Could be someone that likes the product name that they use it as their username!?!
Many years ago I had a good friend that had the username travelinn
yes, COULD be what you say, but i seriously doubt it. 2 posts, both trying to push people towards one company.
And they bought from them because they are exclusive distributor of an unknown brand?
I have no problem with people using forums to sell, but at least be up front about who you are and what you are offering.
Sorry i dont accept your theory and do think they are being a bit underhand.

bovine,
We monitor as many threads as we can, but from time to time we do miss the odd suspect one.
In this instance I'm going to leave it, as whilst he has posted twice, they have both been valid responses to questions.
If you have any further queries please speak to one of us, we're here to help ;)
thanks.
I should clarify that i do not think the company is dodgy in any way or form. They are legitimate and i am aware of them.
I just feel that if you want to generate leads from forums, you should be honest - first impressions are important.
And if im honest, i noticed what they were doing and couldnt resist baiting them on it! sorry

Hi, I'm new to the forum, as well as a bit of promotion for my company I am also interested to see what other EPoS systems people are using in this day and age.
We currently are trying to promote a Touch-Screen from Toshiba - The ST-A10... is anybody else using this?
Hi Daniel,
Havent used them but they look good. Prob a bit more expensive than some units. I like the aures hardware and the packs of the touch unit with a seperate pc unit are quite attractive price wise (and easy from an on-site support point of view).
btw i only heard what happened to lawrence a little while ago - huge condolences to everyone there. A real tragedy.

I have used the Toshiba ST-71, A10 and A20 (slightly better spec than A10 + Advertising screen). As with most things from Toshiba the kit seems tidy and reliable although any replacement parts (screens tend to be common fault) tend to be only available from Toshiba and therefore expensive.
I've known 3rd party on-site engineers having to buy the replacement screens from us as Toshiba would not deal with them directly - which was a bit of a pain.
It really depends on the market you're aiming for, we have used them in retail but I wouldn't recommend them for hospitality/bars/resteraunts as they don't look very water resistant.

Regardless of the Ad nature of the inital posts - for all those out there you need to buy a POS solution that suits your market business processes and business size. no point buying a fashion soluiton for a newsagent is there..

Within the shops i work in, we are using CTN SuperNews and CTN SuperStore.
The shops that are using SuperNews, the EPOS systems are about 16 years old!:p

Winchy,
they dont need to old technology anymore - our QuickPOS system is £1795 for all hardware and software and it's plug and play selling in under 15 mins with 85000 barcodes that are refreshed every 3 weeks. It also does news paper price changes automatically over night and has the option of a news account and delivery system.
